Dean's welcome message
The Modibbo Adama University, Yola Centre for Distance Learning (thereafter referred to as CDL) was conceived because only a few percentages of those applying for admission into the university succeed in securing placements. This is in line with the Nigerian National Policy on Education which recognized open and distance learning as a way of providing access to quality university education for those who otherwise would have been deprived through the conventional process. This development informed the University Senate�s position to approve the establishment of Centre for Distance Learning (CDL) in 2002 and is currently located at Aliyu Mai-Borno Estate of the University, Lamido Zubairu Way, Yola, Adamawa state, Nigeria.
